Zarouchla, village built in a wooded area with abundant water, chestnut and fir (1050-1200 m altitude). One kilometer from the village starts the Zarouchla’s forest which has an area of 20,000 sq.m. It is located 111 km from Patras NA.

On December 13, 1943, the Nazi’s Troops, in retaliation for a battle lost by the resistance groups , executed about 1,500 men over the age of 14 and burnt the city. It is located 77 km from Patras NA.
Chalandritsa is a town of Farres Municipality. It was part of the barony of Patras which separated according the “Greek conquest Chronicle”, so as to create the Barony of Chalandritsa. In 1216 the tower was built by Baroness (now known as Paliopyrgos) who inhabited by Tremouille. In 1364 (when Halandritsa mentioned as a fortress) was elected commissioner of hegemony the Baron Zacharias, and in 1429 besieged by Thomas Palaiologos. It is 22 km from Patras.
