Cave of Lakes in Kastria
The Cave is a rare creation of nature. Apart from the labyrinth of corridors, mysterious tunnels and strange stalactite formations, the "Cave of the Lakes" is something entirely unique, different than any other known cave. The cave contains lakes that are repeated in three levels, which makes it unique in the world.
Vouraikos Canyon
Vouraikos canyon is mentioned in the myth of Hercules when he pulled his sword cutting the rock "Portes" in half, which blocked the passage to Eurystheus, oir according to others to his beloved Voura daughter of Eliki. From Voura comes the name Vouraikos, whose ancient name was Erasinos. But the myth is only one reason, and the unique, unsurpassed beauty is another reason, that brings thousands of tourists to the region that has been declared the most spectacular railway line in the Balkans.
Strofylia Forest - Pappa Lagoon, Prokopou Lake - Kotychi Wetland
An ecosystem of unique ecological value is spread around the beautiful forest of Strofylia, which is one of the largest forests in the Mediterranean. ... Nature was in a great mood when it created Strofylia and this mood is transferred to the visitor of this vast area of 20,000 acres of forest, with pine trees, the myrtles, the heathers and the acorns, which lies a few miles west of Araxos, an hour away from Patras, in a zone parallel to the blue sea of Kalogria beach, which is an ideal place to enjoy sandy beach with shade in a few steps.
Rock of Evrostina and Forest of Perithori - Zarouchla
Rock of Evrostina
The rock is part of Mount Evrostina separating the prefectures of Achaia and Corinthos. Beneath the rock, the stream that watered the ancient city of Aigeira, passes. Its height is over 500m.
Perithori - Zarouchla Forest
The forest is complementary with the forest of Zarouchla and is the largest of Achaia. It has black pine, fir and chestnut trees. The forest begins to Seliana and spreads to Sarantapicho, Perithori, Tarso, Zarouchla and Agia Varvara.
Forest Barbous and Forest Kaniskas
Forrest Barbous
Near the village of Nasia at Afrodisio mountain is the forest Barbous which with its dense vegetation is a truly remarkable mountain oasis. Aged chestnuts from the Venetian era, kranies and oaks offer shade and their branches is the shelter for rare birds and animals, especially wild hogs.
Kaniskas Forrest
Forest area of 12.860 acres, the largest oak forest in the county with rich natural beauty is a shelter for various animal species and also is suitable for activity sports i.e. mountain bike and alternative forms of tourism.
Vine of Pausanias
On the road of Kleitoria-Tripoli, 10 km from Kleitoria, there is the vine of Pausanias with three oversized blooms, climbing on old oaks, next to the old church of St. Nicholas.
Water of Styx
On the rugged and majestic crown Neraidorrachi of mountain Helmos at an altitude of 2,100 meters, is the Water of Styx. The water forms an impressive waterfall at a height of 200 meters that invades the bed of the river Krathis. Mythology grabbed a pencil and paper and forgot to stop writing. The Ancient Greeks believed that the waters of the Styx guarded Hades and terrorized gods and mortals swear lies.
Tsivlou Lake
It is perhaps one of the most beautiful landscapes of mountainous Achaia, the alpine Lake of Tsivlou which with its unexpected presence, rivals and almost surpasses in beauty the famous pine forest surrounding the Zarouchla village.
Ladonas River
Ladon is the waterway "link" of the prefectures of Achaia and Arcadia, and one of the oldest rivers, that mythology calls it "dragon", a place for divine appointments and numerous battles of the Twelve God of Olumpus. Ladonas of the ancients has recently been transformed to a sports river (rafting, kayaking, fishing, and hiking).

Southwest of Daphni , artificial Lake Ladon is suited. This is a lake unexpectedly found within the lush mountain tops, reflecting on its water surface. Ideal for swimming, fishing and gathering. The Marine Sports Club of Daphni, uses both the lake Ladon as well as the river for kayaking, rafting and boating.

The Sources of Aroanios, are supplying water to Ladon and at 7.5 km from Kleitoria smells trout. The reason? The trout farm operating in the region of Planitero, under the protective umbrella of trees and water. Here, salmon production has also been initiated.
Krathis river
Krathis river waters the famous Kloukinochoria (Zarouchla, Agia Varbara, Solo, Peristeri, Mesorougi and Vounaki). Is the main water supply of Styx waters and Lake Tsivlou and ends at the Corinthian gulf .Krathis River cooled off the famous Varvarites craftsmen who were constructing magnificent defensive towers. The underground aquifer surprised Pausanias, who says that two rivers flow, one above the ground and one underground.
Aroanios river
Aroanios River has his sources at the foothills of Helmos at the area of Planitero, it crosses the valley of Katsanas and it meets the torrents of Kleitora and the river Ladon, with which unites to reach the artificial lake in Daphni.
Teutheas River
It comes from the heart of Erymanthos below the tops of the mountains. In the upstream, it rapidly flows through the spectacular deep gorge between Olonos (2221 m) and Prophet Elias (2124 m) retaining water permanently, even in summer. Great falls formed the bed of the river and the streams pouring from the steep side of Prophet Elias.
Krios river
Krios river comes from the forest of Sarantapicho and Perithori, and crosses all Aigeira from ancient times until today, giving life to the surrounding villages of the municipality.
