The ... paradise is unreachable in the prefecture of Achaia. Just to enjoy the panoramic views of the region you should climb to the key positions. And there are several positions for the climbing lovers who are founding the changeling to the rocks and the pleasure to harness the grimly, to confirm the eternal relation of the noble struggle of man and nature. So come and climb on the rocks of Achaia.

Paragliding

Whether amateur or a gliding expert, the skies of Achaia are offered for gliders. If you are interested in an acquaintance with the county from a high altitude, you have plenty of paraglide positions to choose. Paragliding Club of Patras was founded in 1990 and today has over 100 members. It is a member of the Greek Air Sports Federation and is overviewed by the General Secretariat of Sports (tel. 2610 621 494). In collaboration with the Club, we have identified the following gliding sites.

 
Mountain Bike

Assuming that you have a strong stamina, the entire Achaia prefecture is ideal for cycling and even more mountain biking. The mountainous area of Kalavrita with its magnificent forests of Tritaia region (between the villages of Alepoxori and Kalentzi), Ladonas River and the homonymous lake, Mount Movri at western Achaia, are only a few of offered routes for wonderful walks through nature. 

 
Diving

diving0.jpgThe seas of the region are very interesting for divers because of the geomorphic features which they have (rocky or sandy beaches and small islands and small islets and rocks) and hydrological, climatic and physicochemical characteristics creating a multivariate composition marine fauna and flora... 

 
Fishing

Those with boats and even boats Welcome to the ideal place. Numerous natural docks allow trips for fishing lines, fishing nets and lines. But even from the beach, especially from Aigira to Alykes Kato Achaia you can go fishing by line. The water is deep enough, and helps the pebble that is at the bottom, so you can enjoy your hobby.

 
Sailing

Experienced sailors characterize the Gulf of Patras as one of the most ideal areas for sailing trips due to the existence of wind streams but without similar strong waves.
Ten local annual races has been organised by the Patras Sailing Club and in early August in Patras and the Ionian is taking place the Sailing Week with international attendancies.
