The events of Sympoliteia municipality are directly bound to the local raisin production and more specificaly to the Corinthian type of raisin. But also the events are characterised be a carnival, sports and traditional character too.

Celebration of raisins, are organized by the Cultural Association "Grigori" of the municipal district is the only dedicated to raisins throughout whole Greece and the events last about a week. 

Free distribution of raisins is the prize for the producers that submit to the judges raisins with the best quality. Music, dance and events related to the history, cultural and economic dimensions of the product and of trade, await visitors, during the second half of July. Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture expressed an interest in supporting the whole effort.

Akoli beach is the meeting place of athletes of beach volley and beach soccer, during the first half of August, and on the 14th of August the events end with the awards.

Every year in summer during July and August, the "Cultural Summer" is organized, with the participation of the local cultural associations of the city and includes a number of events (music - drama - dance - sports, etc.).

Each year on the second Sunday of Carnival, a carnival parade is organized at Avithos of Rhododendron.

Koulouma are celebrated every year on the first Monday after the Carnival, at City of Avithos with traditional dishes and live traditional music.

Avythiotika are also cultural events at the settlement Avithos.
