Forrest Barbous
Near the village of Nasia at Afrodisio mountain is the forest Barbous which with its dense vegetation is a truly remarkable mountain oasis. Aged chestnuts from the Venetian era, kranies and oaks offer shade and their branches is the shelter for rare birds and animals, especially wild hogs.

Kaniskas Forrest 
Forest area of 12.860 acres, the largest oak forest in the county with rich natural beauty is a shelter for various animal species and also is suitable for activity sports i.e. mountain bike and alternative forms of tourism.
