7967694.jpgThe Press museum is unique in Greece. It features newspapers from 1815 until now and 1300 different titles, contained in 900 volumes from Greece, 1000 journals from 1852 onwards, 67 diaries of the period from 1879 to 1970, rare editions and titles.

The press museum was found in 1956, by the Press Union of Journalists of Daily Newspapers Peloponnese, Epirus, Islands, chaired by Demetrios Lagari. Entering the modern era, it has digitized a significant part of a stock of 300,000 pages, which can now be easily accessed by Internet users.

The museum was co-financed by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund 75%) and National Contribution (25%).
